Chamber Upgrades

Semicon Service offers a comprehensive rebuilding program for the AMAT-0 and AMAT-1 heat exchanger system.
Why remanufacture?
Most heat exchangers start to exhibit problems within 6 months of start up including:
By the time the heat exchanger is 2-3 years old there are usually multiple leaks and performance problems.
By completely remanufacturing and testing the system downtime can be minimized.
Heat exchanger remanufacturing is a fraction of the price of a new unit, why spend more money than you need to?
Key Benefits of remanufacturing
- Ground up refurbishment, not just repaired
- Refurbished pump
- Fully tested
- New DI sensor design included
- Warranted for twelve months
- Fixed cost, no mater what is wrong. Just send us a complete unit (no missing or damaged parts) , we will do the rest!
Services performed during remanufacturing
- All fittings disassembled and cleaned
- Rotometers rebuilt
- ITT heat exchanger rebuilt
- Pump fully refurbished
- New hoses installed
- Resistivity sensor replaced
Complete remanufacturing details
- Initial evaluation of unit, mechanical and electrical check.
- Pump is fully rebuilt including new race way, impeller and seal kit. This insures years of continued trouble free operation.
- Filter is replaced.
- ITT heat exchanger is disassembled, cleaned, inspected and new seals installed.
- Chilled water switch is disassembled, cleaned and inspected.
- Flow switch is disassembled, cleaned and inspected.
- Heater element is removed, cleaned and inspected.

- Temperature sensor is removed, cleaned and inspected.
- Roto-meters are disassembled, cleaned, inspected.
- All rubber hoses are replaced.
- ·Resistivity sensor is replaced with Semicon Service "Rezsense" sensor.
- Electrical interface board is inspected, repaired if necessary.
- Contactors are disassembled and inspected.
- Circuit breakers are inspected.
- Pneumatics disassembled, cleaned, inpected.
- All quick disconnect fittings are replaced.
Other options are available
- Castors, This allows easy movement for critical space constraints
- Flow switch Bypass , Ever try and disconnect the bottom cooling loop for service and keep the rest of the system running? With our flow bypass switch you can keep the unit running while service is being preformed. An alarm indicates that the switch is in the bypass mode during service.
- Remote temperature sensor, used in critical temperature applications this relocation can place the temperature sensor close to the process chamber. Since the temperature is controlled at the chamber the drop in temperature from long cooling runs is avoided.
- GFCI, Adds an extra measure of safety as well as a monitor for the condition of the heater jacket. Current leakage from the heater can also cause interferences with the Analog Input boards on the system.
- Call us for any other modifications!
