Magnet Repair and Resaturation

Problem
1. OEM magnets are exposed to DI water
2. The DI water causes the TEM coating to erode creating rust, low resistivity and particles.
3. Magnets start to warp and the non-uniformity negatively effects film and product uniformity.

1. Incoming Magnet Inspection and Mapping
2. Disassemble
3. Cleaning of 400 series SST parts
4. Check surface flatness of serpentine poles, replace when necessary
5. Incorporate new Nickle encapsulated magnet poles to prevent corrosion
6. Resaturate each magnet and rotation sensor
7. Reassemble
8. Remap revitalized magnet
