SSD replaces SCSI hard drive U0 on Centura, Endura, P5000 and Producer, one universal part number for all system types.
SSD uses higherst quality Single Level Cell SLC memory on an SD card, which is highly durable with automatic wear levelling to monitor memory cell usage.
SSD firmware monitors the status of U0 memory. An LED indicator shows when its time to swap the SD card at the next PM.
When used in conjunction with PDS, the AMAT system can boot can from U4 while U0 memory is being swapped. SSD restore to U0 across the network takes minutes.
