Bob Basnett

Robert Basnett is the Founder and President of Semiconductor Support Services Co, an OEM alternative for equipment, upgrades, repairs, spare parts, and services.  With more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Robert delivers a unique insight into the equipment market. He has been the driving force behind the success of the company and the continuous development of quality products for mainstream production customers. 

Prior to founding SSSco, Robert held the position of Global Fab Sales Manager for Applied Science & Technology (ASTeX/MKS), where he was the first Global Fab Sales manager with the direct focus to sell directly to end users.  Robert started his career in the semiconductor industry with Applied Materials as a P5000 final test engineer rapidly advancing to a management position in field engineering.

Robert graduated from the DeVry Institute of Technology in 1993 and has been trained on Applied Materials Centura 5200 and Precision 5000 systems.
